The Ministry of Foreign Affairs mourns two Libyan citizens who died in a traffic accident while collecting donations in solidarity and support of our people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates mourns the passing of Libyan citizens Ahmed Mohammed Saleh Hamad and Mohammed Ali Al-Harari, who died in a tragic traffic accident that occurred in the city of Zawiya, west of the capital, Tripoli, while they were collecting donations for the Palestinian people as part of the "Palestine Convoys is Our Cause" campaign, in support of our people in the face of the war of extermination, just like the brotherly Libyan people. Two brothers, Abdul Rahman Mahmoud Balgheeth and Abdul Aleem Mahmoud Balgheeth, who were also working with the campaign, were also injured.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its deepest condolences to the brotherly State of Libya, its President, government, and people, on this great loss. It also extends its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.

The Palestinian Ambassador to Libya, Mohammed Rahal, along with the embassy staff and members of the Palestinian community in Libya, participated in the funeral and prayer ceremonies with the families of the victims and the injured, and conveyed the condolences of the Palestinian leadership and people for this great loss.
