Why are war crimes committed in 1948 in still relevant today?
Germany intervened against the arrest warrants to be issued by the @IntlCrimCourt. Their argument was, that Israel has a functional judicial system and just needs more time.
The crimes committed in 1948 clearly disproves that.
Menachem Begin was at that time the leader of the paramilitary terrorist group "Irgin". He later became Prime Minister and died in 1992 without ever having been indicted.
